ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol is officially welcoming its new chief, Col. Christina Bogojevic.
Bogojevic was sworn in during a pinning ceremony Monday afternoon in St. Paul.
Col. Bogojevic thanked the State Patrol troopers and staff, saying, “you are the reason this organization is what it is.”
Bogojevic joined the State Patrol in 2003 and served as captain of the Rochester District from 2005 to 2022. She takes over for longtime Col. Matt Langer.
Bogojevic is just the second woman to serve as State Patrol chief.
